Noise Reduction and Insulation
Noise control is important for our customers. Many systems we build are for cold-air environments; our expertise in the insulation of our systems has also made us a leader in sound-proofing. We have many different options available that will help reduce noise at your site.
Spray Foam
Icynene is an expanding water-blown foam insulation and air barrier system. We can insulate steel skids and between wall studs. Icynene is a better insulator and ensures quietness, providing a significant reduction in noise.
Noise Foam
Noise Foam added to the interior walls of our buildings and trailers allows the sound to penetrate and then disperse as heat by air friction, reducing sound emissions.
Exhaust Fans
You can have the option of venting exhaust fans through the roof so that the system’s noise does not discharge out of the side of the system, but rather up into the atmosphere.
Soundboard
Soundboard – a special-density, structural board made of Homasote cellulose fiber – can be added to the walls to control sound while also insulating and resisting moisture.
Passive Air Vents
We stagger the vents from the outside and inside of the wall so that noise does not have a direct path to the atmosphere.
Sound Enclosures
We can provide customized sound enclosures for your blower packages with 35 DBA noise reduction. Features include lift-off doors, removable roofs, and ventilation fans to maintain proper enclosure temperature.
Vibration Isolators
Vibration pads are used to eliminate the transfer of vibration to the building and piping systems.
