Scope
The scope of the project included removing old UST tanks and installing new ones, tearing down all canopies and replacing them, replacing all underground piping and replacing the previously existing dispensers to install Dover Fueling Solutions® Wayne® dispensers. In addition, the team installed new Pro Gauge ATG (tank gauge) and monitoring systems.
Once the new dispensers were installed, our service technicians started up and calibrated them to be ready to go. Our general contracting team remodeled the interior of the store, aligning to the new c-store owner’s brand.
Subcontractors were used to tear down canopies, take out old tanks and re-dig the holes for installation. Concrete was laid by subcontractor Homeboy Construction, while canopies were placed by Arning Companies, Inc.
Challenges
Challenges the team faced on site consisted mostly of rain delays causing the previously established schedule to be pushed around. Due to the team’s proactive communication with subcontractors and the site owner - schedule adjustments were able to be accounted for and the site was able to continue running smoothly.
Outcome
The client is very happy with the fuel systems upgrade and remodeling project completed by the Seneca team.
“The Seneca team is always available when we need them, and they’ve connected us with a surprising number of referrals and resources we wouldn’t have had otherwise. They don’t just do the job and leave. They share their experience, their industry knowledge, and even a few laughs along the way. The bonus? They’re actually fun to work with.” - Tiffany Fraley, CEO of InConvenience Inc
