Seneca Companies’ Fuel Systems division based out of its Denver branch worked for Agfinity, a large farm supply cooperative, to remodel an existing truck fueling site and add diesel fuel to automotive islands.
Seneca’s team met with the client to learn what they wanted and needed from a new system. Following that meeting, Seneca designed a customized layout. The new design layout maximized the entire space more efficiently, and it increased the number of fueling positions. The new layout also reconfigured the lanes to improve and increase traffic flow. Gilbarco Encore® S Ultra-Hi Flow - Masters & Satellite combination dispensers and a newly installed 20,000 gallon underground storage tank (UST) completed the site layout.
Seneca replaced the existing gasoline dispensers with new Gilbarco Encore® 500 S dispensers. The new dispensers included diesel fuel at two of the automotive fueling positions. Seneca’s team broke open the concrete and tied into an existing diesel line that had been capped. The tie-in extended to the new combined automotive gasoline and diesel dispensers and allowed the site to provide diesel fuel at all of the dispensers on site.
All the work performed and passed state and local inspections. Agfinity has been very pleased with the system.
